Intermediate Program

Grades 3-5

Distance Learning in Fall 2020     OPEN ENROLLMENT ALL YEAR!

Thank you for your interest in San Gabriel Mission Elementary School. At this time of a child's academic and emotional development, they are beginning to gain more independence but still very much need the adults in their lives to guide them in their learning and growing. Our unique STEM approach to teaching and learning gives our elementary students space and encouragement to experiment and even to fail, with the loving support of teachers and peers. As they practice and experience success, they gain confidence in themselves and a love for learning. Learning in the elementary grades takes place within an environment of faith and Catholic values.

Intermediate grades are different than primary grades in maturity and expectations. Students become a little more independent but still need a gentle and guiding hand. All our teachers are nurturing and kind professionals that understand challenges of remote learning. The schedules are ordered in such a way to achieve success. Teachers will be accessible and available to help students and families navigate this learning.
